In my college years at UC Davis (1982-86), we held annual take back the night marches that went down a road with many frat houses. At two of them, men jeered from the balcony and pissed in the general direction of marchers. (Feel free to guess the frats). This is not new. Frat life is toxic.

Campus rape is really widespread; statistics suggest a significant percent of women who go to college will be raped there; feminism opened up a good conversation about it around 2012-13; it's weird when people treated Cornell like an isolated rather than dramatic example of a pervasive problem.
