They bloody love her there…her ward is full of awful people with minor injuries like a fractured pelvis, who do nothing but complain they’re not being prioritised, and argue with the overworked nurses. But mum remains polite, calm & in good humour. She’s ace
Show PostAlso, also….NEVER ignore any new pains in your back or abdomen! (Not that she did, it’s just she had a problem that wasn’t easy to detect). But, without the remarkable staff at Countess Of Chester hospital, mum would’ve been a goner within a day or 2 of becoming extremely ill

Show PostHad an awful couple of weeks with my mum being seriously ill in hospital (thankfully, she’s slowly getting better). And it has reaffirmed the power music has to lift the soul in the worst of situations. It’s incredible stuff
