Aujourd'hui débute l'examen du projet de loi de financement de la Sécurité sociale, qui prévoit notamment le gel des allocations familiales et de certaines pensions de retraite, ainsi que la baisse du remboursement des soins. Les macronistes pensent vraiment que ça va calmer la colère ? 🤔

Again, for the cheap seats: there's no excuse for mindless violence, destruction, looting. Perpetrators should be prosecuted. People aren't questioning that. But what side are you on for the real question: is the answer more cops/military? Or more acceptance of peaceful protest by the authorities?

That kind of coordination is what was needed, always, because protest organizers can't rein in bad elements/give police the help they need if you DON'T LET THEM ORGANIZE. And that's what happened Saturday; the authorities decided not to cooperate, and what happened happened.

I've been to multiple protests the past weeks that were well organized, tens of thousands in the streets, went off well, no problems. At the end of one march there were two cops on motorcycles and then the street cleaners behind them. All good, no violence, because both sides did what was needed.
