Oh, and then there was the channel that was far more nefarious. Sprinkled in among all the old movies was some obviously pro-Trump stuff. Thankfully, my dad hates Trump, so he wouldn't be taken in by that shite, but I still took it out from orbit.

So, obviously, the people who run these channels (if they're not bots) have figured out they can draw in a certain demographic with these movies, in the hopes they will then be drawn to watch the music videos? I have no idea what the end goal is, because the music videos get a fraction of the views

Basically, in among all the old black & white movies, there are loads of what seem to be music videos. Each of them with what look to be genAI thumbnails. These channels tend to upload multiple new tracks every month, then will upload a few films, and then back to "music" again.

So, my dad is big into old Westerns, war movies... very much dad stuff. So, obviously, he has a lot of channels recommended to him that upload such films. Well, I've come across a fair number of these channels that seem to be bot accounts purporting to be women who are musicians.
