This is why I harp so much on mass disenfranchisement. It's not because I'm trying to make the system robust for another once in-a-250 years demagogue way down the line. I'm trying to plan for 2032.

Like maybe I'm wrong, but there is a *very good chance* that the GOP remains a white nationalist demagogue party for the foreseeable future, and while that may not work *as well* without Trump, they're not going to lose elections forever either.
