In WINTER SONG by Rebecca Lee Morales, it’s 1986 in small town Minnesota. The novel explores the intertwined lives of the police chief facing mandatory retirement and a young man just released from prison for a crime he says he did not commit. Beautifully written. #ewgc @librarylovefest.bsky.social
