Dogen translates 国際化 as "globalization", so he can pretend it ends up replaced by グローバル化, but... as @scriptingjapan.bsky.social literally already pointed out in his video last month, 国際化 means "internationalization". That's not the same thing!

Even in the case of 少数派 vs マイノリティー there is a nuance difference. The former merely means to be numerically in the minority in a broader sense, whereas the latter is used very specifically in the context of talking about minorities in the sense of minority groups.
