Show Postbtw for anyone confused about why Perona's ghosts worked on Sanji, it's because he believed in his abilities but still hated himself. Not fully sure how Perona's powers work ofc but you can still know you're VERY good at something while having no self worth LOL
Show PostI can't prove it but I swear Oda's making Sanji look more child-like here to reflect how he's being told off like one and how he always reverts to his treatment as a child when feeling useless. It's his wider eyes and the bandaid over his nose like he sometimes had as a kid 🤔
