So the max temp recorded at the (discredited?) Cardiff Bute Park is attached to a site called 'Cardiff Weather Centre' a name that makes me briefly nostalgic for the 1980s in my home city. Maybe we could bring back the regional weather centres? Public weather education and all that...

A very brisk wind here on Streatham Hill and I have 34.7ºC on the Vantage Vue. It's in a back garden but with the wind mixing the air more I am more confident about the reading.
