middle of the road players get the game but often cab still feel the swing of matchmaking handing them sold matches. which is why its EBMM and not SBMM. SBMM wouldn't care to give you rigged games because its measuring your performance. going 25-0 on a lost game shouldn't be how they balance you out

thats the problem i'm pointing out with EBMM. game forces wins and losses on you by heavily rigging matches in ways that feel insulting. in the D1 case it got that bad because they couldn't rig 3v3 modes enough. but i stuck to 3v3 since 6v6 all became just as sweaty, it's tiring.

i don't mean that on a skill level, i mean it on how interesting and emergent they tend to be or to put it simply they seem over designed and constraining. there are also a lot of annoying mechanics designed to try and lower the ceiling. but above all SBMM no, engagement based matchmaking ruins it.
