Just because today was a going to be less hot than yesterday does not make a high of 31 feel reasonable. Particularly when it was a very warm night so my house didn't cool off much. I'm clinging to the actually cooler weather coming tomorrow.
Show PostHeatwave incoming again. My grocery order is all cold picky bits because I refuse I do anything that adds heat to food (or my house) unless the daytime temps are under 25C and it's not going to happen at all this week.
Show PostA good time was had by all, that's a fun movie for kids as well as adults. Although the funniest moment of all was watching my brother in law emptying popcorn out of his shoe as we left. There was a popcorn box malfunction. My nephew is so filled with popcorn right now.
Show PostFor the first time in weeks (literally, no exaggeration) it is not raining and there's sunshine happening so I've been out for a walk. Then I made the mistake of stopping in a cafe for coffee having forgotten it's Valentine's Day but it's still been a good morning. Sunshine! Blue sky! So good!

Up at 5 to take Mr KJC and Jr to the airport. It's now just me and the cat for a week. I'm going to clean the house and then sit here watching it stay clean for a while.
