It's a good day when I see a Spitfire low over Purbeck & when it's from the house, it's even better. Currently, it's heading for Corfe Castle That's 2 sightings in the last 2 days, with yesterday's sighting over Ballard Down The benefit of living on such a beautiful coastline
Show PostA good project to reintroduce Corncrakes to England This is a species that used to breed on the Purbeck chalk downs up to between the 2 wars. But I guess Nine Barrow & Ballard Downs weren't heavily grazed as they are these days
