Saturday (5): Water busses around Venice much more organised and pleasant than the shuttle busses around Lyon. Actually ended up somewhere interesting - the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo, to see Venezia earn their first points of the season with a 1-0 win over Napoli. Entertaining game.

Friday (4): Two trains. Lyon to Milan and Milan to Venice with @andy_puttock First time here. Not too shabby. Wife has vetoed any gondola rides. Hotel by the lagoon. Dinner, quiet drink. Buying tickets for Venezia v Napoli challenging but not given up hope yet. Ciao.
