wow, this is disappointing: openly supporting that some states are more sovereign than others (Russia gets to decide on the basis of “feelings” whether sovereign Northern or Eastern European states can join Nato) is quite the look awful.

Ending NATO exercises will do nothing to end the war. It's got nothing to do with NATO and everything to do with the desire of a tyrant to recover what he sees as his empire. We tried appeasement ninety years or so ago. It worked so well...

Sorry but I don't agree, Russia is only held in check by NATO. Sweden and Finland seem to think so.
