While putting together a slide show of my mother's life for a memorial tribute, I came across this picture. My mom was born in 1932. I estimate that this picture was taken around 1935. She loved animals and we always had cats and dogs while we were growing up.

Just occurred to me: Way back in the day, kids doctors had Highlights magazine in the waiting room. In them was a cartoon that said "what's wrong with this picture?" And there was a clock with one hand, etc. They were training us to recognize AI slop 50+ years ago!! 🤯 #AI #old

I'm on record having fought getting a dog for a while, and I lost, but do have to admit the benefits for mental health (for young and old) of being frantically licked in the face by this 8 lb fluffball.
