He's arrogant enough that it's frankly not safe to have him in any organizing space, period. You have to be able to set ego aside and be a part of the greater organism. If you don't think the strategy is optimal, you take that up with people individually and get buy-in, or you don't.

There is no objectively "right" or "wrong" balance on this. If you or you org want to do PR that's fine. If you or your org want to risky stuff that PR would threaten that's fine. If you want to try to do both that's fine. Make your own choices and work individually or work within the org. Simple!

I don't really get this "debate" about how protesters should be balancing OPSEC vs. PR in Minneapolis. Everyone gets to decide what risks they want to take working on their own. If you want to work with an org then you either play by the org's rules or lobby internally to change them. It's not hard!
