But hey, I'm done. Hired 10/9/2006, terminated 10/9/2026. 20 yrs to the day. That's a wierd ass fact I get to hold forever I guess. I have had the full grief cycle (terribly) and I'm looking forward to a vacation. MFF, Disney, Joco cruise, maybe Japan. This may be the best time of my life.

Show PostOne thing I didn't expect getting laid off is there is no announcement. They want you to just disappear. I made a few friends that I may never talk to again, so I decided on my own goodbye. Cringe maybe, but these were good friends so I wanted to show their lead business analyst was also a dog.
