Capitalism cannot solve rare diseases. Full stop. The "market" (demand) for rare diseases is, by definition, small, meaning profits would also be small. The amount of capital needed for this kind of discovery would far outweigh any profit. Crack all you want Mark

Mark Cuban's heart is in the right place. He can spend a life of altruism trying to mitigate costs to the end user... or he can help to flip the supply chain upright. The consumer is now at the bottom and vendors at top. Consumers first, one single payer, diminish markup mania along the way.
