The data is based on the OCR'd 7-volume bibliographic index reverse-mapping titles to authors, parsed into CSV. Fiction titles are a recognized source for distant reading since the early work by Franco Moretti, yet I am aware of no other large-scale open data on fiction titles for Russian.
