That's the theory, but does it actually work ? For example, Ireland offered a reduced tax base to mainly big tech, so if the theory is correct then the population should be reaping the rewards, but as far as I see they are no better off than anyone else. Is the theory another fiction?

Hmm, I see where you are coming from, but our tax burden is about average across the developed nations, without reasonable taxation the population suffers from poor services and poor health, which does not bode well for any economy.
