It's really hard to find reference books (they exist but are expensive and not easily available). I have found a couple of good podcasts though: Tabi-Tabi Podcast, Filipino Fairy Tales Mythology, and Folklore Pod by Nathalie De Los Santos, The Gods Must Be Crazy: A Philippine Mythology Podcast

Don't remember if I posted about them yet. This is Malaya, a trans fem pilandok (Philippine mythology mouse deer thing) princess. Her family thinks she should act more masculine instead, and her trans masc hyena friend helps her defy that. Transcription in alts.
