And it turns out that even though I have already had shingles once (a risk factor for it happening again), the vaccine for shingles is still age-limited 😩

Costco was willing to early-vax me because 1) I had a very bad, late case, and 2) technically, I can be exposed to antivaxers through my work* . Getting shingles early should also be a reason to get an early vax. *very technically, but I do have colleagues who have clients who don’t vax.

You... actually had a measles party? I've never heard of doing it. When i was a kid, chicken pox were an inevitability. Measles? Oh, they'd close the school at the first sign.
