Almost every speech Harris gave was interrupted by protesters over the Gaza genocide, and her rehearsed response was basically, “I hear you, and I’ll end the war by helping Israel win it!” Polls show swing states could’ve been won with a ceasefire proposal. It’s insane to say this was inevitable.

Liberals doubling down and getting even more openly racist and transphobic after Trump’s win is exactly what I expected, but it’s still hard to see. So many people—I’m thinking of all the trans kids I’ve worked with—are more vulnerable than I am right now, and I’m genuinely worried for them.

I'm holding a perhaps foolish shred of hope that losing to the dumbest man alive, not once but twice, might cause the Dems to be introspective. but I fear the lessons they'll take are to tack further to the Right so we can have two openly, aggressively fascist parties instead of just one
