True to an extent, but I'd argue that the normalisation of white kids adopting "black" slang due to the influence of non-white peers ITSELF makes SBC's target even smaller. Does 2026 Britain consider a white kid saying, e.g. "mandem" laughable, on its face, in the way that they seemed to in 1999?

There are standups who have a really successful 'bit' about a recent film or cultural event and decades later you still see them doing it, but they have to preface it with 'who remembers that film from about 20 years ago...' This reminds me of that.
