Fantastic set from Kristin Hersh last night. New songs sounded great. Guitar tone(s) glistened. Goldfish-in-a-pickle-jar anecdote was enhanced by the sound effect of an audience member knocking over their empty beer bottle at an accidentally appropriate moment. 🫙 @kristinhersh.bsky.social

"What A Carve Up!" by Jonathan Coe for both. It's certainly not far away from the truth, probably my second favourite after Lord Of The Rings, but I suspect it would give me more cred in both scenarios.
