Yeah I just don't know what I'm supposed to take away from the comic anymore. I'm also autistic and I also have textural issues and if a romantic partner talked in this way about them to me I would feel talked down to. I have adult conversations about my limitations with the adults in my life a lot.

Following you on bluesky is really cognitively dissonant because it feels like you frequently post comics that are about the intrinsic problems that are caused by Joyce's "dumbing of age", but then you post on here about how she's never done anything wrong in her life and I'm bigoted for my reading.
