Great chapter on a very important topic. Construct validity continues to be one of the biggest challenges in research characterizing the behavior of LLMs as well.

So, while point 1 is a serious issue, I can't get my head around how potential UCU strike action is a good idea given 2 and 3
Show PostThings that are currently true in UK HE: 1. Uni staff pay has been decreasing in real-terms for years and pay should increase 2. Unis have zero additional resources and limited ways to increase income 3. Lots of staff have lost their jobs in recent cuts as a direct result of point 2
