The film had a clear message throughout which was that women literally sacrifice themselves for justice, and even when we are seen as having gotten an ounce of accountability, at what cost? If people just want a "satisfying" rape revenge film, there are many horror movies for that.

The problem isn’t the system, it’s the systematic funding deficit. I’m pretty sure it’s harder to get into any Polytechnique program than getting into CEGEP science program. If CEGEP aren’t filtering students, the universities will. They also have capacity constraints…
