To be blunt, I don’t trust conservatives with any appeal to social/progressive ideas. There’s no accountability for election promises. And they thoroughly abuse that loophole. They should have the decency to say what they mean. And their supporters should acknowledge what they’re voting for.

We have very similar worries here. I'm still on benefits even though I work part-time. I wouldn't survive when I'm off ill for long periods if I didn't. It's so scary

Source for the Cons claim, almost halfway down: "Strengthen disability and autism support: increase disability assistance by $100 monthly with annual reviews; raise the single-person earnings exemption to $30,000." Not that I trust they'll come thru & there's LOTS of harmful stuff on other issues:
