It’s known SARS-CoV-2 evolves to erode antibodies from prior infection/vaccination. We asked: has it also become inherently less recognized by human germline antibodies? As shown below, answer is yes. ~3-fold fewer naïve human B cells bind newer vs old viral variant RBDs.

This is damning. So much could could have been done at the time, with what was known about COVID, and with what what resources we had. It’s hard not to read callous neglect into these findings. And that intentional neglect was layered with lies - like the “protective ring” - which did not exist.

I just completed my 1 yr participation in the REVERSE-LC trial! Long covid is still with me, but I'm SO MUCH BETTER than I was a year ago. Friends with LC, please don't give up! More help is coming. For those that don't have it, pls vax n mask as you're able. Trust me, long covid sucks
