The article also presented the history of Sam & Max (so far) using the board game from Steve's "On the Road" comic. You can read the full CGW article here: www.cgwmuseum.org/galleries/is... See you tomorrow with more Official Sam & Max Facts™… and maybe a contest?! 🤔
Show PostAlthough CGW’s visit was only four months before the first episode’s launch, the game was in a rough state and there wasn’t a ton we could show. As a result, the screenshots of Sam & Max’s street have a blue sky. Steve’s request to make it yellow hadn’t been implemented yet. 😅
Show PostFor the cover, Steve sketched four options and the CGW team picked their favorite, which he then painted. The sketch in the alley later became a render that we used as box art for the retail release.
Show Post#samandmax20th Shortly after Sam & Max Season One was announced, a crew from Computer Gaming World came to the office to see the game. They shot video and published a 9-page feature with art by Steve Purcell on the cover. (Hey, share this thread for a chance to win a game key!)
