Oh a more positive note, my library did purchase copies of your book and there's a wait-list for them so I got a polite email asking me to return the book cause someone else was waiting for it.

That would require critical thinking skills and belief in "before AI". Like trying to explain to kids life before the Internet.

I really need people to remember that AI learned from human writing, trained on already-existing human-written text. So if something written by a person before AI became popular happens to resemble the language AI now produces… maybe consider where the AI learned those patterns in the first place 🙄
