We got the tween’s school photos and when I showed her, she said “oh! I’m so cute!” Let me tell you how happy I am to have a 12yo girl who likes how she looks, and I’m taking credit for the modeling of that kind of confidence (even when I was mostly faking it) I’ve been doing since she was tiny.

As part of my Reclaiming My Brain project, I'm knitting socks again and I taught myself how to knit backwards to do heel turns without turning the work and I feel unstoppable
