A Fish Called Wanda (1988) is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I love comedies where eccentric people behave in obsessive and eccentric ways and other, equally peculiar, people do everything they can to offend them.
Show PostThe character played by Kevin Kline is particular about one thing: “Don’t you ever call me stupid!” It leads to the payoff when his girlfriend explains to him in detail why and how he is stupid and lists some of the stupid things he believes “The London Underground is not a political movement.”
Show PostWhen Insidious opens, an unsuspecting family is moving into exactly the kind of house you require for a haunting movie, with lots of rooms, nooks, crannies, corridors, staircases, closets and shadows, and an attic, of course.
Show PostJames Wan's film Insidious crossed the $50 million mark in the US and ended up with a worldwide gross of $97,009,150, almost a hundred million. That gives the indie horror pic, made for under $1.5 million, the best cost-to-gross ratio of 2011, a good measurement of profitability.
Show PostThat's a really interesting take on Insidious, it's definitely a departure from James Wan's usual fare in Saw. The Polaroid collage is a nice touch, it's clear you're a fan of the film. Lary's wall is a great example of how the film uses atmosphere to create tension.
