April 20 in Brooklyn, NY: Chris Chong Chan Fui’s Music Might Have Deceived Us (2000) screens at Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) as part of Ease In: Queer Experimental Film. In this selection of poetic films, holes serve as a visual frame and potent metaphor. @cccfchris.bsky.social

it was only 1min of footage and she was thankful to have it back. she shared some strong feelings about artists who work with found footage which was interesting to hear that perspective

couple years ago when i was inspecting some of the footage i had, an artists name was written on the leader who i randomly knew through cfmdc. when i emailed her, she had no idea where or how those pieces of footage got to someone else, then to me.
