I just heard a doctor get asked what the lived experience of long covid is like for patients and he said “imagine a few months after a covid infection you go to a party and you can’t remember anyone’s names” and to me, this is like describing having cancer as “imagine you have a mole that’s itchy.”

The birds have been singing and chirping today and normally, I love this. Today, when I first heard their song, my brain got angry. It was a reminder of not being able to enjoy the outdoors. That feeling has passed and I’m enjoying their song, but this is #mecfs #longcovid.

You'll hear a lot of talk about school absenteeism. But they won't mention anything about long Covid which is now the most prevalant chronic illness in children. They won't even mention illness at all. Even as your child is sick yet again in the current completely ignored Covid surge #FineFail
