One absolute truth is that small gfx coding teams (3 to 4 gfx coders relative to teams of 30+ artists) are getting swamped with code slop generated by other teams, and the art teams use the excuse that the coding teams are not progressing fast enough, yet they are up to their necks in code slop.

From the people I speak to across studios, art|design departments are aggressively adopting these tools for better or worse. Within actual studios, I doubt that coders are specifically more actively using art|design generation than artists|designers are trying to leverage code generation.

I've seen some actors make similar comments that they are ok with AI replacing other roles in production, but not their own. I find this type of statement incredibly disconcerting.
