Mainly post about Dragon Ball stuff, though I also love Tom & Jerry, ATLA, Mario, and some other series. Also, ducks are cool. AO3 - https://tinyurl.com/kumybk7u NGL - https://ngl.link/paleo_6689525 Tellonym - https://tellonym.me/paleo_66

Goku going out on his own, to find the four star bal, an object that symbolizes Gohan to Goku so much that he literally calls it “Grandpa” and for his journey to end being united with his actual grandpa is such a powerful moment, that always hits me in the feels.

But what really makes it stand out for me is the ending, when Goku is reunited with his Grandpa Gohan. It’s such a sweet emotional moment, that Toriyama plays straight, and is my favorite part of the entire series. It’s also a perfect conclusion to everything that preceded it.

Okay, I’m gonna be the annoying pedant and say this shouldn’t be viewed as a stand alone arc, but the conclusion to the Red Ribbon Army Arc, which is really about Goku’s quest for the Four Star Ball. Mostly this is a nice little breather after all the Red Ribbon centered events.

In preparation for Halloween, let's take a look at the spookiest arc (it's a stretch, just go with it) in Dragon Ball—the oft-overlooked Fortuneteller Baba arc! Let us know your thoughts (3 skeets max, no screenshots please) before 7PM central today (October 20) and we'll read them on the show!

It has some cool fights and an emotional touching moment with Goku and Grandpa Gohan Side Note: this isn’t a standalone arc, it’s a conclusion of the Red Ribbon Army Arc.
