Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning. Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack.

A 5-year old boy was used as “bait” to draw family members out of their home.⁠ Agents took Liam Conejo Ramos and his dad and sent them to Texas. Why detain a 5-year-old? Liam’s family has an “active asylum case” with no deportation orders. This story is very upsetting and not going away.
