Yeah, self-disclosure: I read Cribsheet when my kid was a baby, and I appreciated the judgment-free tone. I don't follow her anymore because... yeah... 😬 Sometimes a parent who isn't completely overstimulated outweighs the importance of a kid getting screen-free time.

I read it! A lot of it is dumb, but both Oster and Bringing up Bebe have at their core an idea that parents are allowed to have wants that are considered beyond just the baby.

Agree! I frequently send other new parents who have flunked out of breastfeeding a PDF of that chapter from Cribsheet, because it truly was so helpful in easing my raging guilt. not a fan of all her work (and had to unfollow her newsletter) but the way she shifted the conversation def matters
