Our talk was very well received, lots of enthusiasm for research on Leeds tokens (which is overlooked) and offers of help! The generosity of others was remarkable, not only did I get my personal 'dog taggy bag' but I got armfuls of journals, books, offers for the uni collection and EXCEPTIONAL MERCH

Show PostSadly not in the Leeds University collection is this one issued by Grace Brischo on 1650 - she and three others all issued tokens with the same hanging fleece that is on the Leeds Coat of Arms today! www.britishmuseum.org/collection/o...
