I also think Iran is aware of the midterms, but I am more skeptical about Trump being freer to escalate afterwards. With what weapons, one could ask? Is he gonna burn off the remaining arsenal? We really need to face the reality that the US is much weaker than we thought.

Ukraine was supposed to send a representative to me to ask what *my* terms are. I've had to ask them what *their* terms are. And they are now the ones saying the next time I ask, the terms will be worse. So it's all going to plan.
