Show PostI generally try to live my life such that no one who knows me enough to care what I think will doubt where I stand on serious ethical and moral issues. Sometimes we all miss the mark and sometimes we miss that someone we're close to or have publicly admired is a rancid piece of shit. >
Show PostLike hey if you have a history of saying forest fires are great and LA deserves to burn then yeah maybe you should uh, clarify your stance. But if you're just living your life right now? Show Post< but the thing about accountability is that to be meaningful it must be specific. What was the harm? To whom? What can we do to address it? Having existed at the same time as something horrible is not harm and we don't owe it to strangers to submit the correct amount of horrified for their review.
