@edmilliband.bsky.social stood up in the HofP just now and told us what he, our govt and much of the world thinks of the state of Israel. I for one wish he’d gone further but it’s a start and good that other countries are taking similar action too. What’ll Trump say & do? Do I care? No.

Give credit where its due. @edmilliband.bsky.social showed courage today. I am now familiar with the acronym BDS, and like you I am leaning towards the idea that only international sanctions will finally remove the Netanyahu govt, stop illegal settlements and save Israel from extremists.

Twelve years ago @edmilliband.bsky.social then Leader of the Opposition, called for full implementation of the #LevesonReport recommendations to protect the honesty of our press. The coalition Govt failed to do that. So now it's way past time that @teamlabouruk.bsky.social initiated #Leveson2
