I think you need to suspend your disbelief a fair bit and go in expecting something more silly from a mouse cartoon shooter. It feels like you've misunderstood the game itself and the game openly advertises what it is. It sometimes comes off like you tried a bit too hard to give a harsh critique.

It's a cartoon, and a boomer shooter, of course Jack kills plenty of people in a night with no repercussion. You even acknowledge it's a boomer shooter but complained about the many rooms full of enemies which is a core part of the genre.

So of course there's an alligator sewer boss, of course the gun has sounds like a kids toy while blowing a guys head off, of course Jack fights an opera singer in an opera house, etc. They're mice, of course there are cheese references everywhere.

It was an interesting review to say the least. I feel like you came into this with very different expectations compared to what the game was openly offering from the get go. I think you are unable to suspend your disbelief while playing. It is a cartoon. (Thread)

I don't even know what you were expecting from this game; Shit's cartoony As Fuck and that's the charm, guns shouldn't feel realistic, it's a cartoon ass gun shooting a mice into an exaggerated puddle of ashes. You just don't like fun man
