Well Netflix doesn't nurture showrunners and writers rooms or allow more episodes each season and takes too fucking long to renew shows. They also refuse to let people know when non-English language shows will be back on the service.

As go features, so does TV: word I heard from the inside stated that Craig of the Creek, Westworld, Our Flag Means Death and other top-rated shows were killed by Zaslav simply for too much POC/female/LGBT presence. Making money was far, *far* less important than supporting the right's narrative. >

just said this on another post but it bears repeating: the thing about continuing to give money to any jk rowling properties or the nyt is not that they’re shitty about trans people, which they are. it is that both of these entities MATERIALLY CONTRIBUTE to the legal challenges to trans rights
