They have also done this for years with Bluetooth and Wifi, and always turned for me after an update. This has stopped on my M4 Mini, but my old Intel one, every update.

The actual requirements seem to be here: www.cisa.gov/resources-to... If this is compulsory for U.S. federal agencies, we Europeans might want to follow.
