you can't 'respectfully disagree' with someone when you're starting out with completely different views of reality. the best you can do is see how long you're able to not talk about it. we'll see I guess! helps that I don't want kids so there can't be any disagreements about what they'd be taught

I do think there’s a pretty big divide in the discourse about AI between people who have non-traditional employment and people who have white collar jobs. There’s a lot of stuff in white collar jobs that is actually drudgery and there’s real gains there that people like.
