"Death Becomes Her" is a blast -- I mean, as in a New Year's Eve party that's nonstop confetti and noisemakers. The wittiest number, though, is one of the quietest, in which the peerless Jennifer Simard roams the mazes of monomania in a twisted little ballad called "Madeline."
