Congratulations to Avi Lewis on your election as NDP leader. As Prime Minister I will always take a collaborative approach to how we build a stronger Canada, and I look forward to speaking about how we can work together to keep delivering for Canadians.
Show PostThe data makes more sense if you think of Canadian housing as a lucrative short term investment opportunity rather than structures for people to live in, as many successive provincial and federal governments have done for decades.
Show PostI agree. I bought a house a year ago at the peak and I don't even care about the "lost value" because I bought it so that I can have somewhere to live. And stop working myself to death just to pay off properties for investors (IOW renting). From that angle the value doesn't matter - just the cost.
Show PostAgreed. It’s the real estate investors who are driving up rents on the average joe. Any way they suffer is a plus, imho.
